A very good place to start...

Ok, so I know that I said I was going to try and keep this thing updated on a regular basis, but I can't seem to do that anytime I try.  So I won't lie anymore.  I'll post when I can.  When I have stuff to post.  This post is going to be full of photos that I have taken over the past couple of years.  You'll get to see my beautiful nephews and niece, as well as my sister-in-law, and my flowers (what I started with back in 2007 with my Sony Cybershot 7.2 mp camera).

Let's start at the very beginning....

In the summer of 2007, after it had rained at my parents house, I decided to pick up my camera and test out my artistic ability.  Little did I know at that time, I would be discovering my passion.  These are the photos that I took out at my parents' home.

This next set, I took outside of the building where I used to work.

Camping is always fun for Chris and I.  These next few are from different camping trips that we took in the fall of 2007.

Garner State Park

On our way home from Garner State Park
A little bed and breakfast that Chris and I spent our 3rd anniversary at was located on the Sabinal River.  (RIGHT next door to Camp La Jita where I spent 2 summers as a camp counselor!)
Also at the bed and breakfast in Utopia.  They are called 'Utopia on the River'.  Beautiful little place!
Thanksgiving 2007.  My father and I drove up to Abilene to spend Thanksgiving with my sister and her family.  While we were there, it snowed.  Here are the products of that snow.

I would LOVE the opportunity to take more pictures of snow, but living in South Texas, we rarely see that white stuff.  Lastly, in the spring of 2008, I thought I would take another stab at photographing the flowers in my parents' yard.

I think I'm going to stop there for now.  Next time I post, I will include different photos that I've taken of family, etc.  I hope with a boost of posts this week, that I'll start to keep updating on a regular basis.  But that also depends on if I can find my battery charger any time soon.  :(

But don't worry!  I have PLENTY of photos currently on my computer that I can post for a little while to come.

First post... Maternity/ Family Shoot

Welcome to my new blog! This is where I will be posting photos that I take professionally or just for fun. There will be LOTS of photos of my beautiful nephews and niece to come for they are my favorite subjects to photograph. I hope to turn my hobby into something more than a hobby someday, and am slowly getting my start, so please... join me on my journey!!

Here is my first set of photos.

Yesterday I did my first family/ maternity shoot. It was for Marta and her family. She won a photoshoot with me at a silent auction that we held at work for the American Heart Association.
